Cemfloor
Cemfloor is a brand of cement-based, high-performance liquid screed known for its fast-drying, self-leveling properties and suitability for use with underfloor heating. Unlike traditional sand and cement screeds, Cemfloor provides a smooth, void-free surface with minimal shrinkage and cracking.
Advantages
- Ideal for underfloor heating (UFH): Cemfloor provides exceptional thermal conductivity and completely encapsulates UFH pipes, eliminating air voids and improving heating system efficiency and responsiveness. It can also be applied in thinner layers, which further enhances thermal performance.
- Fast installation and drying: Cemfloor can be installed significantly faster than traditional screeds, with some projects laying up to 1,000 square meters per day. It is foot-trafficable in as little as 24 to 48 hours.
- Exceptional finish: The self-compacting nature of Cemfloor results in a void-free, level surface. Unlike anhydrite screeds, Cemfloor does not produce surface laitance (dust) and typically finishes to a surface regularity of SR2.
- Compatibility: Cemfloor is a cement-based screed that is compatible with all cementitious adhesives and floor finishes. This means no special primers or treatments are needed to ensure adhesion, and floor finishes can be applied much sooner than with calcium sulphate screeds.
- Versatile applications: It can be used for bonded, unbonded, and floating floor constructions in both residential and commercial projects. It is also suitable for use in wet areas like kitchens and bathrooms.
Cemfloor Level Plus
Cemfloor Level Plus is the ultra-thin edition of the core Cemfloor range. This cement-based mixture of Cemfloor binder, cement, water and sand maintains the high-performance found in the wider range, whilst being uniquely designed for thin section screeds of 12-50mm in depth.
